Adam Smithson struggles to survive alone in his tiny apartment, high above Century City. His only companion is a bonsai tree, which he meticulously tends. Perhaps he does it just to pass the time, a time that seems utterly endless. But like everything else in the city, his plants need blood to survive. This forces Adam to constantly seek sustenance in the dark streets below. The elevator plunges Adam into the city's nightmare, where he becomes the hunted. In a place where blood is currency and the only way out is down, Adam must survive and thrive against others pursuing the same goal.
