ASRock's Radeon RX 5600 XT graphics card spotted online

ASRock's Radeon RX 5600 XT graphics card has surfaced online. The leak reveals its design, power requirements, and specifications. An official announcement is expected soon at CES 2020.

Based on the information available, the official announcement of the Radeon RX 5600 XT graphics card is right around the corner. This is further, albeit indirectly, confirmed by today's leak of images showing a non-reference version from AMD's partner, ASRock.

The ASRock Phantom Gaming D3 RX 5600 XT graphics card features a triple-slot cooling system that, incidentally, is significantly longer than the PCB itself. In line with recent trends, the cooler is equipped with RGB lighting. The Phantom Gaming D3 RX 5600 XT draws power from a single 8-pin supplemental power connector, theoretically indicating the card's relatively modest power consumption, not exceeding 150-200 W.

Graphics card specifications:

  • 1920 stream processors (estimated)

  • 48 ROPs (estimated)

  • 120 texture units (estimated)

  • Maximum core clock: up to 1620 MHz

  • Game clock: 1460 MHz

  • Base clock: 1235 MHz

  • Memory clock: 12000 MHz

  • Memory capacity: 6 GB GDDR6

  • 2nd generation 7 nm GPU

  • 1 x 8-pin supplemental power connector

  • 3 x DisplayPort / 1 x HDMI

  • Graphics card dimensions: 240.6 x 126.5 x 53.0 mm

Key features of the ASRock Phantom Gaming D3 RX 5600 XT:

  • Durable dual-fan design

  • Metal backplate

  • Quiet cooling

  • AMD Eyefinity technology

  • Radeon FreeSync 2 HDR

  • 8K resolution support

Currently, the AMD Radeon RX 5600 XT graphics card is expected to be announced, and possibly even released, at CES 2020, which is just a few days away.
