Overclocker Splave achieved a new 3DMark Vantage record using two Radeon HD 5870 graphics cards and water cooling.
After a long absence, American overclocker Splave is back with new GPU results. This time, the enthusiast armed himself with two legendary Radeon HD 5870s and claimed the model class gold in 3DMark Vantage:

⤢ ВІДКРИТИInterestingly, for this benchmark session, Splave opted for water cooling on both his CPU and graphics cards instead of the usual liquid nitrogen. Yet, it was still enough to secure first place with a score of 53546 marks.
To achieve this result, the overclocker pushed the Intel Core i9 9960X processor to 5000MHz, and the graphics cards to 1125MHz on the core and 5200MHz on memory.
Splave stays true to form, once again failing to list any components besides the CPU. Even more frustrating, the American didn't specify the manufacturer of his graphics cards. But when has that stopped us? A verification screenshot revealed the first card was from MSI, while the second, judging by the DeviceID field in GPU-Z, turned out to be from Gigabyte (possibly a GIGABYTE HD 5870 Eyefinity X6, though that's not confirmed). Unfortunately, we couldn't identify the exact models of the graphics cards.
The screenshot also shows the enthusiast's favorite board, the ASRock X299 OC Formula, along with 32 gigabytes of unknown DDR4 memory, configured as four 8GB sticks.
