German overclocker Sergmann pushed a Pentium Gold G7400T to 5487 MHz, securing the top spot in Cinebench R20's 2-core leaderboard.
German overclockersergmann has snagged two gold medals in theCinebench - R20 discipline. The enthusiast not only claimed first place in the model ranking for Intel's newPentium Gold G7400T processor but also, and more impressively, topped the overall dual-core leaderboard.
It's important to note that the Pentium G7500T chip typically doesn't support overclocking, whether by changing the multiplier or the base clock (BCLK). However, some of Intel's motherboard partners have integrated their own clock generators, allowing engineers to make overclocking these processors possible. Just be aware: not all Z690 chipset boards can perform these tricks, and even the ones that can require a specific BIOS version.
Just look at these results! 2190 points in Cinebench R20:
The G7400T chip was pushed to an impressive 5487 MHz. Overclocking parameters included a 177 MHz BCLK, a 31x multiplier, 1.430 volts core voltage, and DDR5 RAM clocked at 6725 MHz with 30-39-39-32 timings.
Sergmann managed to beat his closest competitor by a significant 100+ points:
