Overclockers Rauf and shar00750 have set new records, pushing the GeForce RTX 3090 graphics card and Ryzen 5 5600X CPU to their limits using liquid nitrogen.
Today, two overclockers set impressive new records. Swedish enthusiast Rauf claimed the top spot for the GeForce RTX 3090 in 3DMark - Time Spy Extreme, while his Israeli colleague shar00750 took first place for the Ryzen 5 5600X in Geekbench3 - Multi Core.
Let's break down the details.
To secure first place in 3DMark, Rauf paired an Intel Xeon W-3175X overclocked to 4,900 MHz (+58.06% over stock) with an ultimate-tier GPU: the GALAX GeForce RTX 3090 HOF OC Lab Edition. This card is currently available in only a few stores worldwide, with prices starting at a steep $4,000.
Cooled by liquid nitrogen, the GA102 GPU reached a blistering 2,820 MHz (+102.15% over stock), while the GDDR6X memory was pushed to 21,808 MHz (+11.81%). This setup finished the 3DMark - Time Spy Extreme benchmark with a massive 14,582 points:
The test bench consisted of the following components:
CPU: Intel Xeon W-3175X @ 4,900 MHz;
Motherboard: ASUS ROG Dominus Extreme (BIOS version 0409);
RAM: Twelve 8 GB GALAX Hall of Fame DDR4 modules;
Graphics card: GALAX GeForce RTX 3090 HOF OC Lab Edition;
SSD: 120 GB Samsung 840;
PSU: 2000W Super Flower 8 Pack Edition.

But back to the results. To claim the record for the Ryzen 5 5600X, shar00750 pushed the chip to 6,000 MHz and successfully completed the Geekbench3 - Multi Core benchmark with a score of 48,905 points:
His test bench included the following components:
CPU: Ryzen 5 5600X @ 6,000 MHz;
Motherboard: GIGABYTE X570 AORUS MASTER (BIOS version T60);
Graphics card: GeForce GT 1030.
