British overclocker ObscureParadox has secured two gold medals: one in the AMD Phenom II X4 960T BE category and another in the global 5-core ranking.

Using liquid nitrogen, the enthusiast pushed the chip past the 6 GHz mark and completed the HWBOT x265 4K benchmark with a score of 2.136 fps:

This result secured ObscureParadox the gold in both the Phenom II X4 960T BE category and the highly specific 5-core ranking.

The overclocker's test bench featured the following components:

• Motherboard: ASUS ROG Crosshair IV Formula;

• RAM: two 2 GB sticks of CORSAIR Dominator GT.
