Legendary overclocker Splave pushed an Intel Pentium Gold G7400 to 6500 MHz, securing two gold medals and top spots in the GPUPI and Cinebench R20 benchmarks.
Just days after Splave bagged two gold medals with a powerful setup featuring three Radeon Fury X graphics cards, the American overclocker is back with new submissions. And, in his typical fashion, they've already become gold records.
For both benchmarks, Splave utilized an Intel Pentium Gold G7400 processor, pushed to roughly 6500MHz. This was paired with ASRock's top-tier Z690 Aqua OC motherboard and two modules of KLEVV HMCG78AGBUA081N RAM — which are most likely standard Hynix "green" modules.
The enthusiast posted a score of 251.990 seconds in the GPUPI for CPU - 1B benchmark.
And in Cinebench R20, he scored 2575 points. Both achievements landed the overclocker first place in the Pentium Gold G7400 model ranking, and also secured him the top spot in the overall 2-core leaderboard.
