Hardware enthusiast chispy pushed an overclocked Radeon RX 6900 XT to earn a silver medal in 3DMark - Fire Strike Extreme for single-GPU setups.
Puerto Rican overclocker chispy clinched a silver medal in the 3DMark - Fire Strike Extreme benchmark, ranking second among single-GPU graphics cards and specifically for the AMD Radeon RX 6900 XT model.
The enthusiast opted for an ASRock graphics card, likely the Radeon RX 6900 XT Phantom Gaming D OC model:
⤢ ВІДКРИТИCooled by a specialized liquid nitrogen pot, the graphics card was pushed to an impressive 2955 MHz on the GPU (+61.92% over stock!) and 2160 MHz on the GDDR6 memory (+8.00% over stock).
These are exceptionally high frequencies, particularly for a Navi 21 GPU, but even they weren't enough for the Puerto Rican overclocker to secure the top spot. Chispy's benchmark run resulted in a score of 35,028 points, earning him a well-deserved second place in both the model and single-GPU rankings:
The overclocker's test bench consisted of the following components:
Processor - AMD Ryzen 9 5950X (overclocked to 5181 MHz (+52.38% over stock frequency);
Motherboard - ASUS ROG Crosshair VIII Hero (Wi-Fi);
RAM - G.SKILL Trident Z NEO;
Power Supply - SuperNOVA G2.
