Greek overclocker OGS set a new RTX 3090 record in 3DMark Port Royal, pushing his GALAX card to 2895 MHz on liquid nitrogen.
The GALAX GeForce RTX 3090 HOF OC Lab Edition graphics card has once again dominated the HWBot competitive arena. Thanks to the GALAX-engineered card, Greek overclocker OGS set another record in the RTX 3090 category, taking the top spot in the popular 3DMark - Port Royal benchmark:
The graphics card was cooled with a liquid nitrogen pot and pushed to 2895 MHz (+107.53% over the stock GPU clock) and 22,096 MHz (+13.29% for the GDDR6X memory). The test system featured an ASUS ROG Maximus XII Apex motherboard and a flagship Intel Core i9-10900K CPU overclocked to 5300 MHz.
In the comments of his submission, OGS shared some interesting details about his benchmarking session:
According to the overclocker, a single successful run of 3DMark Port Royal consumed about a liter of liquid nitrogen. Over the entire session, which can involve dozens or even hundreds of runs, the enthusiast burned through roughly 30 liters of LN2.
