Intel Core i9-9900KS: mllrkllr88 overclocked to 7305 MHz

As I mentioned in a previous news note, the recently released Core i9-9900KS processor initially failed to make much noise or cause a sensation in the overclocking community. But gradually, some pretty solid results have started to appear in the HWBot database.

And today, American overclocker under the pseudonym mllrkllr88 delivered another rather interesting record.

The enthusiast got his hands on a relatively good Core i9-9900KS chip, which he ultimately managed to overclock to 7305 MHz, earning first place in Geekbench4 for the CPU's model rank:

However, we're not just interested in the model rank here, but also the global 8-core CPU and overall world rankings.

Thanks to mllrkllr88, a second Intel Core i9-9900KS entry has appeared in the ranking:

Additionally, the enthusiast climbed to third place in both the world and 8-core rankings for the same Geekbench4 discipline.

The enthusiast didn't forget about motherboard safety.

The CPU and RAM were cooled with liquid nitrogen pots.

The overclocker's colleagues congratulated him in their unique style:

And there's certainly a lot to be impressed by here. This is one of the first strong results achieved with the Core i9-9900KS processor.

The record-breaking setup featured the ASRock Z170M OC Formula motherboard, already well-known and extremely popular among enthusiasts. The liquid nitrogen pot was acquired from Kingpin Cooling, and Team Group supplied the RAM to the overclocker.
