Yesterday, the HWBot front page was flooded with records set on Ryzen 3000XT processors, and many probably missed that Russian overclocker TerraRaptor was back at it, benchmarking another LGA 775 CPU. This time, the enthusiast targeted the Intel Celeron 430, a slightly more overclocking-friendly chip.
This CPU features a 1x higher multiplier than the Russian's previous subject, the Celeron 420, which should allow for slightly higher overclocks. And it paid off: through hardware modifications and dedicated effort, TerraRaptor managed to push the processor to 4185MHz (from a base clock of just 1800MHz) and secure three new records for the Celeron 430 model category:
