Overclocker Splave scored two new records in 3DMark Vantage and 3DMark 2011, all using a Radeon HD 6950 graphics card.
I'd almost started cursing myself this past week for hyping the American enthusiast Splave's performance; he hadn't published a single result since September 29th.
Overall, even after several global events, HWBot's homepage had remained quiet, showing no significant achievements all week.
After brewing my coffee, I logged into HWBot today without much enthusiasm. What a pleasant surprise it was to see Splave dominating the front page with several first-place finishes, especially with a Radeon HD 6950!
The American's first gold came in the 3DMark Vantage benchmark, specifically within the Radeon HD 6950 hardware class:

Splave secured first place with 37,193 points, running the Core i9 9960X CPU at 5000MHz. The Radeon HD 6950 itself hit 1300MHz on the core and an effective 6600MHz on its GDDR5 memory.
Splave's second record, also in the hardware class, came in 3DMark 2011:

Unfortunately, Splave stuck to his usual habits, once again failing to specify almost any of the components used in his test bench. Even more frustrating, he didn't even mention which specific ASUS Radeon HD 6950 model he used for the record.
However, for those who dig deeper, the GPU-Z Device ID — 1002 6719 1043 03BE — strongly suggests he used an ASUS HD 6950 DirectCU II.
Beyond the known CPU and graphics card, Splave used an ASRock X299 OC Formula motherboard, a common component in his LGA2066 platform records.
The remaining components weren't specified.
