American overclocker Splave achieved 8 world records across four benchmarks using an Intel Core i9-10940X 14-core processor, cooled with liquid nitrogen.
While the Korean enthusiast known as safedisk is a master of AMD overclocking and benchmarking, American overclocker Splave is a top-tier specialist when it comes to Intel processors.
Today, for instance, the American proved this by setting a series of records with the 14-core, 28-thread Intel Core i9-10940X processor.
Splave claimed his first gold in the HWBOT x265 Benchmark - 4k discipline, earning top spots in both the model-specific and 14-core categories. He pushed the 10940X chip to 5800MHz, achieving a result of 38,889 frames per second:

The processor's frequency slightly decreased to 5911MHz for this benchmark.
All 8 records were set with the chip cooled by liquid nitrogen, using Splave's go-to motherboard, the ASRock X299 OC Formula. Unfortunately, as is often the case, the record-setter didn't specify the other components.
