
Overclocker Splave shattered the 8-core record, pushing an Intel Core i9-9900KF to 7020 MHz and scoring 3162 points in Cinebench R15.
It took American overclocker under the pseudonym Splave just four days after the New Year celebrations to return to form and set a pretty serious record.
The enthusiast managed to conquer a challenging first place in the 8-core processor category.
For this feat, Splave armed himself with an Intel Core i9-9900KF chip, with its integrated graphics disabled. He then pushed it to 7020 MHz using liquid nitrogen, snatching two gold medals in the popular Cinebench R15 benchmark:
