Splave: Intel Core i9-9900KF Overclocking Record to 7020 MHz

It took American overclocker under the pseudonym Splave just four days after the New Year celebrations to return to form and set a pretty serious record.

The enthusiast managed to conquer a challenging first place in the 8-core processor category.

For this feat, Splave armed himself with an Intel Core i9-9900KF chip, with its integrated graphics disabled. He then pushed it to 7020 MHz using liquid nitrogen, snatching two gold medals in the popular Cinebench R15 benchmark:

A score of 3162 points at a CPU frequency of 7020 MHz secures first place in both the Core i9-9900KF model ranking and the overall 8-core category.

Fellow overclockers congratulated the American, noting that he had stumbled upon an incredibly successful, one might even say "golden," sample of the processor:

As is typical, Splave didn't list the components he used for this record. However, thanks to the confirmation screenshot, we're certain that for the motherboard, the American used his favorite ASRock Z170M OC Formula.
