American overclocker Splave has once again surpassed Shar00750, reclaiming the top spot in the 3DMark11 ranking for three Radeon R9 Fury X graphics cards.
The "backup battle" for benchmark supremacy rages on. Just days after Israeli overclocker Shar00750 claimed the top spot in the 3DMark11 – Performance ranking with a triple Radeon R9 Fury X setup, American Splave has once again posted a new record, snatching back the gold.
⤢ ВІДКРИТИLike Shar00750, Splave also opted for a Raptor Lake-S platform as the base for his test bench. However, instead of a Core i9-13900K, he used an Intel Core i9-13900KF, essentially the same chip, overclocked to a significant 7500MHz (a 150% increase over base frequencies). While his CPU frequency was 100MHz lower than his rival's, the American managed to push the trio of Radeon Fury X graphics cards slightly harder than the Israeli overclocker. He achieved 1160MHz (+10.48% over nominal GPU clock) and 575MHz (+15% over nominal HBM memory clock). This ultimately allowed the renowned enthusiast to surpass Shar00750 with a score of 67357 points:
⤢ ВІДКРИТИInterestingly, Splave remains true to form, concealing the actual date of his benchmark session. Just look at the timestamp in the bottom right corner of the screenshot above.
Frankly, the scores achieved by the American aren't the final word for this generation of hardware. Shar00750 therefore has every chance of surpassing Splave in the near future and reclaiming the lead in the triple Radeon R9 Fury X graphics card category.
