Two more golds: TAGG sets two new records for the Intel Core 2 Quad Q9550
Austrian overclocker TAGG took home two golds in the Intel Core 2 Quad Q9550 rankings after pushing the chip to 4505 MHz.
Less than a day has passed since his last post, and Austrian overclocker TAGG is already back with two solid new results on the LGA 775 platform. A lot has changed since yesterday, though: first, the humble Celeron 430 made way for a quad-core Intel Core 2 Quad Q9550, and second, the premium ASUS Rampage Extreme was swapped for a GIGABYTE GA-EP45-Extreme motherboard.
Armed with a highly capable Yorkfield golden sample, the Austrian pushed it to 4505 MHz (a 59.19% overclock), landing two gold medals in the Core 2 Quad Q9550 rankings for wPrime - 32m and wPrime - 1024m.
