Elite overclocker Splave just crushed a world record in Unigine Superposition's 1080P Xtreme benchmark, also snagging bronze in 8K Optimized with an RTX 4090.
Currently, the hottest competition among overclockers is for the GeForce RTX 4090 graphics card. We've spent the past week covering various records set by top enthusiasts across numerous disciplines. However, today, Splave outdid them all.
The American overclocker managed to stabilize his ASUS Matrix RTX 4090 at 3915MHz (+75.17% over nominal GPU clock) and 25002MHz (+17.96% over nominal GDDRX clock). With these settings, he completed the Unigine Superposition - 1080P Xtreme and Unigine Superposition - 8K Optimized benchmarks, scoring 29499 and 17657 points, respectively.
His first score is an absolute world record in the Unigine Superposition - 1080P benchmark, standing unmatched by any graphics card. The second result earned him a bronze medal, placing him among the top three in Unigine Superposition - 8K Optimized.
The RTX 4090 was paired with an overclocked Core i9-13900K processor, hitting 5800MHz (+34.88% over nominal), and an ASRock Z690 Aqua OC motherboard.
