Ryzen Threadripper 3970X: rsannino set 2 world records

Italian overclocker rsannino has bagged two world records in the GPUPI for CPU - 1B and wPrime - 1024m benchmarks. Both gold medals were achieved with the 32-core, 64-thread AMD Ryzen Threadripper 3970X processor.

To clinch the top spot in GPUPI for CPU - 1B, the Italian overclocker pushed the CPU to a frequency of 5549 MHz:

Achieving these frequencies without liquid nitrogen is practically impossible.

The chip's frequency for the world record in wPrime - 1024m remained roughly the same, at 5548 MHz:

Rsannino also secured second place in the world ranking for the Cinebench - R15 benchmark:

Unfortunately, top overclockers often don't disclose the components used in their test rigs. This case is no exception. However, we do know that the enthusiast used an ASUS ROG Zenith II Extreme motherboard and four 8GB sticks of GALAX OC LAB RAM.
