
Swedish overclocker Pulse88 has taken the top spot in the 3DMark06 benchmark for the NVIDIA GeForce GTX 260 with a score of 29,866 points.
Swedish overclocker Pulse88 has taken the top spot in the category for the legacy NVIDIA GeForce GTX 260 192SP (the original revision with 192 active stream processors) in 3DMark06.
To secure the top spot, Pulse88 paired an Intel Core i9-9900KS overclocked to 6100 MHz with an ASUS-branded version of the card. The GPU was pushed to an impressive 945/1890 MHz (core/shader clocks, a 64.06% increase over stock), while the memory reached 2600 MHz (+30.00%).
A phase-change cascade system cooled the CPU, while liquid cooling kept the graphics card's temperatures in check. The bench session yielded a final score of 29,866 marks:
