Greek overclocker OGS has surpassed Splave in the SuperPi - 32M discipline, claiming two gold medals: one for ranking first with the Intel Core i9-12900KS chip and another for setting a new world record in the aforementioned benchmark. Nobody knows how long OGS will hold this top spot, but it's certainly captivating to see him surpass a mastodon of competitive overclocking in his own discipline.
⤢ ВІДКРИТИTo achieve such a significant result, the enthusiast opted for a different path, choosing entirely different components (besides the CPU). His test bench was built around the ultimate ASUS ROG Maximus Z690 Apex motherboard. This, combined with careful selection of the best CPU sample, paid off: OGS managed to boost the i9-12900KS chip's frequency to 7518MHz, which is 13MHz higher than Splave's.
