Finnish enthusiast Luumi pushed an RTX 3090 Ti to an astounding 2925 MHz, claiming a new world record in GPUPI v3.3 - 32B and earning two gold medals for his efforts.
It seemed like just yesterday Finnish enthusiast Luumi delighted his fans with an impressive overclocking record on a dual-core Core 2 Duo E8600. Now, only nine days later, the overclocker has returned with an even more significant achievement.
The Finn managed to top the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3090 Ti model leaderboard and also secured first place in the single-GPU ranking for the GPUPI v3.3 - 32B discipline. This unequivocally adds two more gold medals to Luumi's already overflowing trophy cabinet.

⤢ ВІДКРИТИLike Splave with ASRock, Luumi also stays true to his brand. As an EVGA ambassador, the overclocker frequently uses components from this manufacturer, which often translates into incredible results. Unfortunately, the record holder didn't specify which EVGA video card was used for this top finish (though it was likely an EVGA RTX 3090 Ti Kingpin). However, we can confidently say Luumi opted for an EVGA Z690 DARK Kingpin motherboard. Accompanying it was a top-tier Intel Core i9-12900K processor, overclocked to 5400MHz (+68.75% over stock), and a 32GB kit of DDR5 G.SKILL F5-6400J3239G16G RAM, boosted to 6800MHz.
⤢ ВІДКРИТИA key detail of the record holder's bench session was the use of liquid nitrogen and Thermal Grizzly Kryonaut Extreme thermal paste, which significantly helped Luumi achieve such high GPU frequencies.
