Mllrkllr88 takes 14-core y-cruncher - Pi-1b title with overclocked Core i9-10940X

American overclocker mllrkllr88 clinched two gold medals in the relatively new y-cruncher - Pi-1b discipline. He took first place in both the Intel Core i9-10940X chip model leaderboard and the overall 14-core ranking.

His winning setup included an ASRock X299 OC Formula motherboard—a popular choice for overclocking LGA 2066-compatible CPUs—four 8GB Corsair GMK16GX4M2Z4000C16 RAM modules, and a Core i9-10940X processor, which he pushed to 5098 MHz.

Despite what might seem like a modest overclock, Mllrkllr88's efforts secured him two first-place finishes with a time of 16.887 seconds:

Granted, the y-cruncher - Pi-1b benchmark isn't currently the most popular discipline on HWBot, but that doesn't diminish Mllrkllr88's achievement. The American had a strong benchmark session and likely has even more serious results in store.
