Matt26LFC clocks Core i5-4690K to 5926MHz, takes top spot in Cinebench R15

British enthusiast Matt26LFC (Team Team MLG) has made his mark in the Core i5-4690K chip rankings, claiming gold in the Cinebench - R15 discipline.

For his benchmark session, the overclocker chose the once-popular ASRock Z97 OC Formula motherboard, pushing the processor to a frequency of 5926 MHz (+69.31% over stock). Liquid nitrogen then enabled the enthusiast to successfully complete the Cinebench - R15 benchmark with a score of 947 points:

Thus, the enthusiast managed to surpass 160 opponents and claim the top spot in the Core i5-4690K chip's model ranking.

Matt26LFC's test bench included the following components:

• Motherboard - ASRock Z97 OC Formula;

• RAM - two 2GB G.SKILL PI F3-17600CL7-2GBPIS sticks, overclocked to 2679 MHz;

• Power supply - Super Flower Leadex 1600 watt;
