The German overclocker Kolby_Powers, very famous in narrow circles, today posted the first record in the ranks of the AMD Ryzen 5 3600XT processor. It is noteworthy that the enthusiast did not use liquid nitrogen to overclock a fresh, six-core chip, but limited himself to a liquid cooling system. Thus, the CPU frequencies were only 4625 MHz, with a result in the Cinebench – R15 of 1879 points:
It is quite obvious that this is only the first sign and this record will be broken in just a few hours (possibly days) and further, most likely, we will see the cherished for the architecture of Zen 2 6GHz and the results exceeding 2500 points.
Kolby_Powers test setup consisted of the following components:
- Motherboard – ASUS ROG Crosshair VIII Impact
- RAM – 2 x 8GB G.SKILL Trident Z (F4-4133C19-8GTZC)
- OS – Windows 8.1 64-bit
