
Cyberpunk 2077's patch 1.1 is scheduled to drop within the next 10 days, but the native PS5 and Xbox Series X|S versions of the game have been pushed back to the second half of 2021.

First, the major 1.1 patch will roll out within the next 10 days. Second, CD Projekt Red has delayed the current-gen console release of Cyberpunk 2077 to the second half of 2021. Finally, the developers are currently focused on fixing and polishing the game, which has slightly slowed down work on the free DLC. This doesn't mean the DLC is shelved, though. CD Projekt Red assured players that the free DLCs are still coming, just a bit later than originally planned.

The first patch will drop in the next 10 days, followed by a larger, more significant update a few weeks later. Our long-term support plans for Cyberpunk 2077 haven't changed, and we'll keep releasing patches to make the game better for everyone on consoles and PC.
According to Iwiński, a second, even larger patch (version 1.2) will follow a few weeks after the 1.1 release, bringing further fixes and improvements. After that, the studio will transition to a regular schedule of updates and hotfixes.
Looking back at The Witcher 3, which was also quite buggy at launch but became highly playable after a few patches, it's clear CD Projekt Red knows how to fix their games. They might not make them 100% perfect, but the most important thing is that the game is fun and engaging, right?
