During yesterday's PC Gaming Show, the remake's developer confirmed that Mafia: Definitive Edition is built on the Mafia III engine. This immediately raises concerns for fans of the first two games, given the many issues they had with that most recent franchise installment.
One major concern is vehicle physics and handling. Another is the strange NPC behavior and the police's often inadequate reactions to player actions.
