Overclocker Chispy has claimed a new personal record on the AMD Radeon RX 6900 XT. After being surpassed by Splave, Chispy fought back to secure third place in the model ranking with 35,127 points.
A few days ago, Puerto Rican overclocker chispy snagged second place in the AMD Radeon RX 6900 XT's model ranking, also placing second overall for single GPUs in the 3DMark - Fire Strike Extreme benchmark. Almost immediately though, American overclocker Splave overtook chispy, claiming his spot in both categories for the same graphics card. Unfazed, chispy tried again today to reclaim his position "in the sun".
For his graphics card, the enthusiast chose an ASRock creation, likely the Radeon RX 6900 XT Phantom Gaming D OC model:
⤢ ВІДКРИТИCompared to his previous attempt, chispy managed to boost the core frequency from 2952 MHz to 2970 MHz (+62.74% over stock), while the memory frequency remained unchanged at 2160 MHz (+8.00%). Unfortunately, this wasn't enough to overtake Splave (35847 points), forcing chispy to settle for third place with a score of 35127 points:
The overclocker's test bench consisted of the following components:
CPU — AMD Ryzen 9 5950X (overclocked to 5202 MHz, +53.00% over stock frequency);
Motherboard — ASUS ROG Crosshair VIII Hero (Wi-Fi);
RAM — G.SKILL Trident Z NEO;
PSU — SuperNOVA G2 1600W.
