Israeli overclocker Shar00750 smashed his own 3DMark11 record using three Radeon R9 Fury X graphics cards, dethroning Splave to claim the top spot overall.
Israeli overclocker Shar00750 has once again surpassed his American counterpart, Splave, claiming the top spot in the 3DMark11 - Performance discipline for a triple Radeon R9 Fury X setup. To be fair, Splave typically uses results from extensive pre-recorded benchmarking sessions. Shar00750, meanwhile, often chases his opponent in real-time, reacting after the American's scores are published. This is a normal situation, though, as Splave is a more renowned and well-resourced enthusiast, capable of spending significantly more liquid nitrogen per session, which ultimately boosts his overall productivity.
⤢ ВІДКРИТИThe enthusiast also managed to secure first place in the overall ranking, not just the specific model category, for any triple graphics card setup in the 3DMark11 - Performance discipline.
⤢ ВІДКРИТИHowever, as we've noted many times before, older 3DMark benchmarks aren't always straightforward. In essence, the central processor often serves as the primary lever for achieving such high results.
For this particular test setup, the foundation was an Intel Core i9-13900K chip, significantly overclocked to an impressive 7600 MHz (+153.33% over its base clocks). The trio of Radeon Fury X graphics cards, on the other hand, were pushed relatively gently: 1150 MHz (+9.52% over nominal GPU frequency) and 531 MHz (+6.2% over nominal HBM memory frequency).
Frankly, this is likely just the beginning of the rivalry between these overclockers. It's highly probable that Splave won't let this result go unanswered; expect the American to attempt a comeback soon to reclaim his first-place position in both the overall and model-specific rankings for three Radeon R9 Fury X graphics cards.
