Overclocker Mtron clinched two world records in the HWBOT x265 Benchmark using an AMD FX-6300 chip, delivering outstanding results in both 1080p and 4K tests.
Not long ago, I wrote about how first-gen AMD FX-8000 series processors aren't particularly popular right now. The same, to some extent, goes for six-core (three-module) FX-6000 chips of any generation.
However, Czech overclocker Mtron today broke two records in the AMD FX-6300 CPU class:
The enthusiast earned both gold medals in the HWBOT x265 Benchmark. The first was in the HWBOT x265 Benchmark - 1080p:
⤢ ВІДКРИТИThe processor was overclocked to 5674 MHz, achieving a result of 18.461 frames per second:
⤢ ВІДКРИТИThe second was in HWBOT x265 Benchmark - 4k:
⤢ ВІДКРИТИThe chip's frequency was the same 5674 MHz, with a result of 4.311 frames per second:
⤢ ВІДКРИТИThe Czech overclocker's test rig consisted of the following components:
Motherboard: ASUS M5A99X Evo R2.0
RAM: Two 8GB Corsair Vengeance modules (CMZ8GX3M2X1600C8)
PSU: An unknown 1000-watt Zalman model
