The first leaks of information about the characteristics of the GeForce RTX 3080 and RTX 3070 video cards appeared

Today, the VideoCardz resource published some damn amusing, albeit very unlikely, technical characteristics of the future NVIDIA three thousandth series video cards:

Let’s start with the fact that the editors of the VideoCardz website are quite skeptical about this rumor, and therefore you need to be extremely biased.

Back on January 17, in the Twitter account of the user KittyCorgi, information appeared about two GPUs based on the Ampere architecture, namely the GA103 and GA104:

60 SM , 320-bit

NVIDIA GA104:

According to rumors, the GA103 will have 3,840 stream processors, while the GA104 will receive only 3,072. Presumably, we have a GeForce RTX 3080 and RTX 3070. So, according to the leaks, the first video card should be equipped with a 320-bit bus and 20 gigabytes of video memory. and the second is a 256-bit bus and 16GB.

Please treat this information with caution. Moreover, there is very little left to wait for the official announcement of a new line of video cards from NVIDIA. Most likely, NVIDIA CEO Jen-Hsun Huang will present the GeForce 3000 series cards already at GPU Technology Conference 2020, which starts on March 22.
