Based on the information received earlier, as well as from various rumors and leaks, we already know that the flagship smartphone Xiaomi Mi 10 will have at its disposal a Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 processor, 66-watt fast charging, and a camera with a 108-megapixel sensor.

Today has brought one more additional detail, revealing in a little more detail the characteristics of the top Xiaomi smart.

According to new leaks, shared by the XDA portal, the American RAM manufacturer Micron has managed to start mass production of the world’s first low-power LPDDR5 DRAM chips.

Micron’s LPDDR5 technology allows the company to fit 12 GB of RAM on a single chip with a transfer rate of up to 6.4Gbps, which is almost twice faster than LPDDR4 and 20% surpasses the results of current LPDDR4X RAM. In addition, LPDDR5 is 20% more economical than LPDDR4X!

So, the Chinese resource tech.sina.com.cn claims that it is the flagship smartphone Xiaomi that will be one of the first to have a new type of high-speed memory at its disposal.

It is possible that we will have a couple of modifications with 8 and 12 GB of RAM. In addition, in the second half of 2020, Micron can start mass production of 16 GB chips and provide future flagships with a truly monstrous amount of RAM.
