TAGG OVERCLOCKED THE PENTIUM E5200 CHIP TO 6065MHZ AND BECAME THE FIRST IN THE CURRENT CPU RANK

The Austrian overclocker TAGG won a gold medal in the budget dual-core Intel Pentium E5200 processor rank in the SuperPi – 32M discipline.

Exactly as in the last bench session with the E2140 chip, TAGG using liquid nitrogen to cooling the processor, thanks to which the enthusiast managed to overclock the Pentium E5200 to a very high frequency of 6065 MHz (+ 142.60% to the base), which ultimately allowed the overclocker successfully complete the SuperPi – 32M benchmark with a result of 7 minutes 59 seconds 719 milliseconds and become the first in the current CPU rank:

The record-holder test setup consisted of the following components:

  • Motherboard — ASUS Rampage Extreme;
  • RAM — 2 x 2 GB DDR3 CORSAIR Dominator GT;
  • Power supply — SuperNOVA G2 850W.
