American overclocker Splave has updated two records at once in the Geekbench3 discipline – Multi Core – in the Core i9 9980XE rank and for all 18-core CPUs.
To achieve the result of 101213 points, the American enthusiast needed to overclock the 9980XE processor to 5800MHz using liquid nitrogen. At the same time, the memory operated at a frequency of 3733 MHz with timings of 12-11-11-24. The popular ASRock X299 OC Formula motherboard was used.
Unfortunately, the author of the record did not indicate the rest of the components, but it can be assumed that the video card was not represented by some powerful solution and a simple “plug” was used.
