The American enthusiast Splave once again delighted his fans with a very significant achievement: the overclocker was able to climb to the first line of the rank of the pair of top-end NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3090 video cards in the GPUPI v3.3 – 32B discipline:
To achieve this record, Splave used an Intel Core i9-9900KF chip overclocked (if I may say so: in fact, the CPU worked within its boost mode) to 4894 MHz and two GeForce RTX 3090 video cards (Zotac and ASUS models) overclocked to 2145 MHz for GPU and up to 19504MHz for GDDR6X video memory.
Thus, the enthusiast secured himself the first place in the rank for a pair of RTX 3090 video cards, as well as gold among any two video cards in the GPUPI v3.3 – 32B discipline.
The Italian overclocker ale belo, in turn, did not change his habits and once again updated one of his own records in the rank of the Phenom II X2 560 BE processor:
Separately, I would like to note that in the rank of this processor there is a small legal loophole for increasing the final results in benchmarks, in the form of unlocking the cores. Thus, instead of the required dual-core processor, in the Phenom II X2 560 BE rank, you can find both three and four-core variations of the above-described chip.
But back to the result of ale belo. In order to climb to the first place in the y-cruncher – Pi-1b discipline, the overclocker used a modified top-end motherboard GIGABYTE GA-890FXA-UD7, as well as, in fact, the ultimate set of DDR3 – G.SKILL F3-2666C11-4GTXD RAM.
As a cooling for the CPU, the enthusiast chose a system with a phase transition, which allowed ale belo to overclock his existing Phenom II X2 560 BE processor to a frequency of 4687 MHz. The result of this bench session was two gold medals: in the rank of the chip of the same name, as well as the first place among any processors with three cores.
