Just a few days ago, the German overclocker sergmann was able to set a fairly significant record in the Intel Core i9-9900KS processor rank in the Cinebench – R15 discipline and already updated it today.
The previous overclocker’s result was 3134 points, and he achieved it due to the fact that he was able to keep the processor frequency at 6974 MHz. Today, the result of the German was 3138, with the same processor frequency. Apparently, the enthusiast applied the necessary tweaks for the operating system, or it may turn out to be a trivial error. It’s hard to judge. But this does not make the record any less impressive.
Also, I would like to note that the improved result still did not allow the German to reach at least second place in the 8-core ranks, leaving him content with the third:
Exactly like last time, sergmann’s test setup looked like this:
- Motherboard — EVGA Z390 Dark (131-CS-E399-KR)
- RAM — 2 x 8GB GALAX OC LAB on Samsung’s chips
- Video card – NVIDIA GeForce GT 710
- Power supply — Seasonic Platinum 1200 watt
