Almost a year ago, during last year’s holidays, the GSC Game World studio shared the first in-game screenshots of the second part of the legendary S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Apparently, the newly formed tradition liked the authors of the shooter and today, on the eve of the new year, 2021, the developers decided to demonstrate the first official teaser trailer of the S.T.A.L.K.E.R 2 game.
The teaser turned out to be small, and the action takes place in twilight, which makes it difficult to make out most of the details. Nevertheless, the picture does not look bad, but in some places even “juicy”. Considering that this is far from the final build of the project, the schedule should become even more beautiful by the time of release.
S.T.A.L.K.E.R 2 is based on the most popular game engine Unreal Engine 4. At the moment it is known for sure that the game will visit the Xbox Series X / S and PC. The PlayStation 5 version will be released after about a year. As for the consoles of the last generation Xbox One and PlayStation 4, here the studio GSC Game World was adamant and given the bitter experience of the recently released Cyberpunk 2077, completely refused to release its game on the “past-gen” consoles.
There is no exact release date for S.T.A.L.K.E.R 2 at the moment, but it was previously confirmed that the game will be released next year.
