So, according to his information, AMD will show GPUs based on the 2nd generation of the RDNA architecture at CES 2020.
Here are some features of the next RDNA iteration:
- Optimized 7nm process technology to achieve higher frequencies without sacrificing energy efficiency
- Hardware support for real-time ray tracing
- A combination of relatively cheap GDDR6 video memory and expensive HBM2
- RDNA2 based chips will be more power-efficient than previous RDNA GPUs
