The Italian overclocker rsannino scored two world records in the disciplines GPUPI for CPU – 1B and wPrime – 1024m. Both gold medals were won on a 32-core, 64-thread AMD Ryzen Threadripper 3970X processor.
In order to get the first place in the GPUPI for CPU – 1B, the Italian had to overclock the processor to 5549 MHz:
The chip frequency for the world record in wPrime – 1024m remained about the same – 5548MHz:
Also, rsannino scored second in the world ranking of the Cinebench – R15 benchmark:
Unfortunately, top overclockers often do not report the components they used in their test benches. This case was no exception. But we know for sure that the enthusiast used an ASUS ROG Zenith II Extreme motherboard and 4 GALAX OC LAB RAM sticks of 8GB each.
