On August 17, a new video was released on the YouTube channel of the developers of the RPCS3 emulator, which touched on games such as The Last of Us, Ratchet & Clank Future: A Crack in Time, and Resistance.

Resistance 3 and Ratchet & Clank were recorded on a Ryzen R7 1700 @ 3900MHz processor, and The Last of Us on a Core i7 8700k @5200MHz

With the implementation of improved framebuffer memory synchronization through Read Depth and Color Buffer, Ratchet & Clank Future has much-improved performance and visuals. However, at the moment, this only applies to the Vulcan rendering, but this will soon change.

The second achievement was significant image stabilization and image enhancement in The Last of Us. Not without an increase in performance, all thanks to the enthusiast with the nickname kd-11.

Also, the developers report that soon we will have new improvement in the functioning of RPCS3 due to the refinement of data transfer for DMA (Direct Memory Access – the technology of direct memory access, bypassing the CPU).
