After several quite reliable leaks, Rockstar Games still announced Red Dead Redemption 2 for personal computers. Frankly, this is not at all surprising, especially given the enormous financial success of the same GTA Online.
Nevertheless, even with this in mind, there were a huge number of skeptics.
Unfortunately, for now, this is the so-called “paper announcement”, because there are no trailers or frames from the PC version of the game yet.
However, Rockstar has created a page in its store and claims to have various graphical and technical enhancements for the PC:
And here’s the funny thing about this whole situation. Even at the announcement of the Rockstar launcher, we said that a company of this level would not launch something like this without a good reason. And now the reason appeared on the horizon.
For a whole month, Red Dead Redemption 2 will be an exclusive on its own Rockstar store, and only then will it be released on the familiar to everyone on Steam.
In fact, there is nothing to worry about here, especially considering the pre-order bonuses.
If you pre-purchase a game using the Rockstar Launcher by October 22nd, you can choose to receive two of the following six games as bonus gifts:
- Grand Theft Auto III
- Grand Theft Auto: Vice City
- Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas
- Bully: Scholarship Edition
- L.A. Noire: The Complete Edition
- Max Payne 3: The Complete Edition
Impressive, isn’t it?
But that’s not all. When pre-ordering, you are also offered the following bonuses:
- Outlaw Survival Kit for Store Mode
- Warhorse for Story Mode
- Treasure map for story mode
- Cash bonus for story mode
- 50 Golden Bars for Red Dead Online
Rockstar promises to provide more information on the PC version of Red Dead Redemption 2, including system requirements, details of new features, and first screenshots. But only at the start of the pre-order – on October 9.
The game itself will be released on November 5 this year.
