Microsoft plans to expand the capabilities of its Xbox console again. This time, the Redmond giant offers users the freedom to use their home console to stream installed games to their Android phone or tablet. This almost completely repeats the concept of Steam Link or PlayStation 4 Remote Play.
In other words, in the future, after the end of the long testing of the new function, gamers who have chosen the Xbox will really no longer be tied to the location of the console and, for example, will be able to play their favorite games in the kitchen, or in any other place where it is convenient for them.
Nevertheless, it should be understood that this technology requires a sufficiently high-quality Internet connection, and, therefore, the space for its application may be quite narrow (apartment/private house).
Just in case – after its release, Xbox Console Streaming will be a completely free service.
