Yesterday British overclocker Matt26LFC excelled in overclocking and benchmarking the Intel Core i7-3770K processor. Armed with liquid nitrogen, the enthusiast was able to overclock the chip to a frequency of 6404 MHz, which secured him first place in the Geekbench3 – Single Core discipline. But, unfortunately, only in the model classification:

The result was 5867 points in a single-threaded test:
The test setup consisted of the following components:
- Motherboard – ASRock Z77 OC Formula
- RAM – G.SKILL 2 x 2GB with timings: 8-12-8 28 1T
- Power supply – Super Flower Leadex 1600 watt
And it looked like this:
I would like to note that the Matt26LFC also overclocked the RAM (2520 MHz) quite well, which was facilitated by a small amount of liquid nitrogen for the RAM.
