Apparently, the American overclocker keeph8n has so far left his beloved Ryzen Threadripper 2970WX and switched to the top 32-core Ryzen Threadripper 2990WX.

The TR4 platform has long been native to keeph8n and today it has proven it gold in Geekbench3 – Multi Core on an AMD Ryzen Threadripper 2990WX processor overclocked to 4200MHz.

Gold both on the AMD Ryzen Threadripper 2990WX processor and among all 32-core CPUs. An amazing result.

I have a strong feeling that these are just so-called “sighting” results. It is possible that soon we will expect a higher result caused by a truly impressive processor frequency going far beyond 4500 MHz.

In the past, keeph8n also started with the Ryzen Threadripper 2970WX. At first, an extremely low frequency, and then a lull and 5 GHz along with a bunch of gold taken in an armful.

It seems that the enthusiast was rescued by the ASUS ROG Zenith Extreme motherboard. After all, it was after keeph8n switched to it that the overclocker broke many records.

I would also like to note that the processor was cooled by the CBO (Water Cooling System), not nitrogen. Which obviously affected the final frequency. We are waiting for experiments with liquid nitrogen and updating some records.
