keeph8n scored two records on AMD Ryzen Threadripper 2970WX again

After just a few records on the AMD Ryzen Threadripper 2990WX processor, the American overclocker keeph8n returned to the Ryzen Threadripper 2970WX again and surpassed a couple of his own results.

First, the enthusiast broke his own record in the Cinebench – R15 discipline, both in the Ryzen Threadripper 2970WX rank and for all 12-core processors:

The second achievement of the overclocker was the first place in both ranks in the Geekbench3 – Multi Core discipline with a score of 112392 points:

In the first case, the processor was overclocked to 5045 MHz, and in the second to 5024 MHz.

The keeph8n test setup did not undergo any special changes and consisted of the following components:

  • Motherboard – ASUS ROG Zenith Extreme Alpha
  • RAM – 4 x 8ГБ G.Skill F4-3600C17-8GTZR
  • Video card – GeForce GT 1030 from an unknown manufacturer
  • Power Supply – Unknown 1600 Watt PSU

It is not yet clear why the American returned to the Ryzen Threadripper 2970WX. Either the Ryzen Threadripper 2990WX instance was not the most successful, or the processor failed without surviving the experiments.
