It looks like the Italian overclocker GRIFF has seriously taken up the study of classic processors. Today his goal was the second generation of Pentium 4 chips based on Intel NetBurst architecture, namely Pentium 4 2800MHz (Northwood core, 200MHz bus).

Thanks to the phase transition system, the enthusiast was able to overclock the processor to an impressive 4655 MHz and test it in the wPrime – 32m benchmark, where he later won first place in the ranks:

The GRIFF result was 49 seconds 516 milliseconds.

The test setup consisted of the following components:

  • Motherboard – ASUS P4C800-E Deluxe
  • RAM – 1 x 512Mb DDR1 by Corsair, unknown model of the XMS line
