Overclockers haven’t done much in the past few weeks. And frankly, this is not surprising. The situation in the world is difficult and tense, to put it mildly. And that’s why today’s results have been very, very valuable.

Even under the pressure of the quarantine, the Italian overclocker GRIFF did not become discouraged and even more so did not succumb to general panic. The overclocker focused on what can easily distract from the depressing news in such a difficult time – on overclocking, and set as many as three records in the Intel Pentium MMX 200MHz ranks!

The enthusiast got his first gold in the SuperPi – 1M discipline. Here, as in two further results, the processor was overclocked to an impressive 359 MHz using a phase transition system. The result was 5 minutes 47 seconds 610 milliseconds:

The second achievement of the Italian was gold in the Pentium MMX 200MHz rank in the PiFast discipline. The result was 11 minutes 33 seconds 110 milliseconds:

And the last GRIFF record was in the wPrime – 1024m benchmark. Of the three presented, this result is the most serious, because the test itself lasted more than four hours! The final figure was 4 hours 34 minutes 25 seconds 555 milliseconds:

The test setup of the Italian overclocker looked like this:

  • Motherboard – Soltek SL-54U5 on VIA Apollo MVP3 chipset
  • Processor – Intel Pentium MMX 200MHz overclocked to 359MHz
  • RAM – 128МБ by SK Hynix
