German overclocker Digg_de won two gold medals in the ranks of a dual-core, four-thread Intel Core i3-6100 chip.

Both records were set using the same benchmark, but are classified into two disciplines: HWBOT x265 Benchmark – 1080p and HWBOT x265 Benchmark – 4k.
In both cases, the Core i3-6100 chip was overclocked to 3801MHz, but Digg_de was able to maintain the stability of the DDR4 RAM at 3972MHz for the “1080p” test, and in “4K” the RAM speed dropped to 3836MHz.

It should be noted that overclocking the RAM to ~ 3900 MHz helped the enthusiast to earn these records. The overclocking of the Core i3-6100 itself is practically identical to the achievements of the past Jokot and avalanche record holders.

The German test setup consisted of the following components:

  • Motherboard – ASUS Maximus VIII Impact
  • CPU cooling – water cooling system
  • RAM – 2 DDR4 strips x 8GB G.SKILL Ripjaws V F4-3600C17-8GVK
  • Power supply – Seasonic Platinum 1200 watt
