Crossplay was recently spotted as a feature for Borderlands 3 on the game’s Microsoft Store page immediately after pre-orders opened
However, Gearbox was quick to point out that crossplay is still pending and cannot be considered a feature of the game.
Now, Randy Pitchford has finally provided an update on the crossplay issue.
There won’t be any cross-platform features on release, but Gearbox is working with all parties (Sony, Microsoft, and Epic Games) to make it happen as quickly as possible.
