An enthusiast from Australia had an extremely productive bench session today with the new AMD processor. KartA took first place in the wPrime discipline – 1024m in the AMD Ryzen 9 3900X processor category. This processor with the help of liquid nitrogen was overclocked to a frequency of 5550 MHz.

And if you were not particularly impressed with the first place in the category of relatively new processor, then with this result KaRtA secured itself the second place in the current CPU rank standings among all 12-core CPUs.

Here’s what the author wrote under his result on the HWBot page:

First exposure to Zen2 in cold, good session, didn’t waste huge amounts of LN2 (nitrogen). Just poured, loaded and off you go. FCLK CB is painful and waiting down to -38 to load is wasteful. Need a few more things to try and make a better mount, that was rubbish.

Also, in parallel, the Australian also took third place in the Cinebench R15 discipline in both tests, which, by the way, is an extremely good result:

The record holder’s test setup contained the following components:

  • Motherboard – ASUS ROG Crosshair VI Hero
  • RAM – DDR4 G.SKILL Trident Z
  • Power Supply – MasterWatt Maker 1200 watt

Unfortunately, the author did not specify the rest of the components.
