
Today the Polish overclocker ADVenturePO was able to achieve a fairly significant result. The enthusiast armed himself with a 24-core, 48-thread AMD Ryzen Threadripper 3960X processor and overclocked it to 4450MHz, setting a record in both the 3960X and in the 24-core ranks of the HWBOT x265 Benchmark – 4k discipline.

The RAM operated at a frequency of 3606.8 MHz, and the benchmark result was 45.66 frames per second:
At the same time, the chip was cooled by a very effective and apparently effective custom water cooling system:
The enthusiast’s test setup consisted of the following components:
- Motherboard – MSI TRX40 Pro 10G
- RAM – 4 модуля по 8ГБ G.SKILL Trident Z
- Video card – NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2070 SUPER
- SSD – Samsung 970 EVO Plus 1000GB (Phoenix controller)
